SunSys Vallocoat 1317 FD is designed for inline and offline coating applications on offset-printed paper and paperboard. The fast-drying (FD) formulation allows coated sheets to be handled, stacked, and converted quickly after coating, reducing job turnaround time and minimizing the risk of blocking or marking in the delivery. The general-purpose (GP) gloss formula is well suited for commercial printing applications including brochures, catalogs, folding cartons, and promotional materials where a protective, high-gloss finish is desired.

Applying SunSys Vallocoat 1317 FD helps protect printed surfaces against rub and scuff damage during handling, transport, and end use — extending the life of the finished piece and improving the perceived quality of the print job. The aqueous formula is compatible with standard aqueous coating towers and decks on most offset printing presses and coating machines, and cleans up with water for easy press maintenance.
